Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada has been the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous television series. Born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her native country to the US and were granted refugee status to remain. Ghanizada is the middle sibling of two sisters and was brought up to a young age in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her on-air camera career by being featured in several National Commercials. Ghanizada's role as Chiara in Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara earned her a nomination for Best Actress at a film festival. Television guest-starring roles comprise How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NUMB3RS bones Psych and Castle. Recently, she was in the action-science fiction movie Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009).
